As part of its programme of scholarships, the Francis Bacon MB Art Foundation has implemented a support policy for young artists. Within this framework, the Foundation has entered a partnership with Villa Arson. This institution of contemporary art combines, on one site, an École nationale supérieure d’art, a Centre national d'art contemporain, an artists’ residence and a dedicated library.
The Foundation is committed to awarding a scholarship every two years to an artist who has graduated from Villa Arson with the national diploma of advanced artistic expression (DNSEP/MASTER), obtained in recognition of their artistic practice and production in painting or drawing. This financial support will provide help for the young artist at the beginning of their professional life and artistic career.
